Dr Simon Winder attended the University of NSW and graduated with a medical degree BSc(Med) MBBS in 1996. In the past 20 years he has worked mostly in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also has extensive experience in Accident and Emergency Medicine. As part of a broad ongoing education he completed a Master of Strategic Studies (ANU). Dr Winder has a Fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Master of Reproductive Medicine and a Master of Womens Health Medicine.
Services provided by Dr Winder include: Pregnancy planning; early pregnancy management (miscarriages and terminations) antenatal, labour and postpartum care; cervical screening, contraception, management of menstrual disorders, menorrhagia, menopause, incontinence, diagnostic, minor laparoscopic procedures and IVF.
His interests include high risk obstetrics, early pregnancy, ultrasound and genetic conditions, infertility and its treatment. His main focus is Obstetrics however he is happy to consult on a range of Gynaecological problems.
