Dr Luk holds advanced subspecialty qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound. Her passion is early prenatal diagnosis, fetal anomalies and endometriosis ultrasound.

Dr Wanyu (Natasha) Luk is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with advanced subspecialty qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Ultrasound. Her passion is early prenatal diagnosis, fetal anomalies and endometriosis ultrasound.

 

With over a decade of experience in the field, she has been dedicated to the practice of Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 2012. Dr. Luk obtained her specialist training at the Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney and further expanded her skills during advanced training at Wollongong Hospital in 2018. Dr Luk underwent advanced ultrasound training at both the Fetal Medicine Unit at Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital and Sydney Ultrasound for Women (SUFW) between 2019 and 2022.

 

Throughout her career, Dr Luk has held various positions including part-time staff specialist at the FMU in RPA Hospital and part-time sonologist at SUFW. She led the Genomic department in the FMU at RPA Hospital from 2021 to 2023, actively involved in expanding the NIPT services and playing an integral role in educating GPs as well as mentoring sonographers, registrars, and maternal-fetal fellows at RPA Hospital.

 

With a strong interest in early prenatal diagnosis and fetal anomalies, Dr Luk understands the emotional challenges faced by expectant parents and strives to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in prenatal screening, diagnosis, counselling and management.

 

Dr Luk is also experienced in gynaecological ultrasound, particularly in the area of deep infiltrating endometriosis and gynaecological invasive procedures. Dr Luk believes in equal access to high quality ultrasound, prenatal counselling, testing and advanced gynaecological assessments.
