Dr Punjabi is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with an interest in hip and knee surgery, trauma surgery and surgery for sporting injuries.

Dr Vaibhav Punjabi is an Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon. He completed his orthopaedic training in 2015 in Sydney and spent one year working alongside internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon Professor Fares Haddad in London, UK where he gained further experience in revision hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr Punjabi performs anterior minimally invasive hip replacement and robotic assisted knee replacement. He also has an interest in knee arthroscopy, knee ligament injury (ACL, PCL, Collateral ligaments, Posterolateral corner injuries), meniscus injury, patellofemoral and cartilage problems. He also treats upper and lower limb fractures in adult and paediatric patients.

Dr Punjabi works both in public and private sector. He is actively engaged in teaching and training of orthopaedic registrars, medical and nursing students and is involved in orthopaedic outreach work in Fiji. Dr Punjabi has published in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters relating to Hip Arthroplasty and Prosthetic Joint Infection. He has presented scientific papers at orthopaedic meetings and conferences in Australia and internationally and participates in ongoing research of hip and knee.
