Dr Jeremy Humphris has been a practicing gastroenterologist since 2010 having completed his training at Concord and Bankstown Hospitals. He undertook a PhD at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research through the University of New South Wales, which focused on the genetic changes leading to the development and progression of pancreatic cancer.
He is accredited at both Wollongong Private Hospital and the Wollongong Hospital providing services in:
- General gastroenterology
- Endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy), diagnostic and therapeutic
- Removal of large polyps
- Management of Serrated Polyposis Syndrome
- Diagnosis and staging of gastrointestinal malignancies
