Dr Claire Lee is an Illawarra and Shoalhaven based geriatrician who provides geriatrics and rehabilitation services in Wollongong, Figtree and Lawrence Hargrave Private hospitals. Dr Lee’s particular interest is in perioperative medicine and geriatrics rehabilitation. She has undergone an Orthogeriatrics fellowship at Southmead hospital, Bristol UK, which pioneers a shared care model between Orthopaedics and Geriatrics.
Dr Lee received her medical training from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and trained at Westmead hospital as a basic physician trainee. She has completed comprehensive geriatrics specialist training at Sydney and Gosford networks, followed by the fellowship in the UK.
Dr Lee prides herself in providing holistic and personalised care for her patients in inpatient settings as well as in community. She lives in Wollongong with her husband and daughter.
