Dr Sheraz Anjum is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with more than 15 years of local and international experience and a strong passion towards managing pain whilst preserving motion.
After completing his medical degree in 2002 and orthopaedic speciality training in 2010, Dr Anjum worked as orthopaedic surgeon performing foot and ankle, trauma and limb reconstruction surgery in the Middle East for 4 years. Whilst there, he worked alongside world leading orthopaedic surgeons gaining experience with the latest techniques in deformity correction.
Dr Anjum is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. He has also completed Australian Orthopaedic Association Accredited Fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, limb reconstruction and complex trauma management.
Dr Anjum also has interests in research and teaching. He has presented at numerous local and international conferences as a guest speaker. He has also been involved in the teaching and mentoring of orthopaedic registrars and holds an appointment as a Senior Lecturer with University of Wollongong.
Dr Anjum has advanced training in minimally invasive (keyhole surgery), ankle replacement and diabetic foot reconstruction surgery.
He has an interest in motion preserving keyhole surgery leading to minimal pain, better function, early rehabilitation, and improved cosmetic outcomes.
