Dr Chad Todhunter is an Australian and internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. His interests include primary and revision total hip replacement, primary and revision partial and total knee replacement, knee arthroscopy, knee and shoulder arthroscopic and open reconstructions, shoulder replacements, upper and lower limb trauma and routine hand surgery.

Dr Chad Todhunter is an Australian and Internationally trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. After growing up in Sussex Inlet he has returned to the Illawarra with his young family to live and set up a permanent practice.

He completed his Orthopaedic training in NSW and was recognised as a Young Leader within the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

He has trained with Australia’s leading shoulder surgeons followed by a one year fellowship in hip and knee surgery at the Manchester Orthopaedic Centre in the United Kingdom. He also undertook additional training in London and Switzerland in shoulder, robotic knee surgery and anterior approach hip replacement. He has experience in trauma surgery, having worked in some of the busiest trauma centres throughout NSW.

He currently holds a VMO position at Wollongong Public Hospital and is part of the on-call roster. Dr Todhunter aims to be accessible to patients in the Illawarra and provide first class care by using the most modern techniques available.
