Dr Anthony Barker is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with interest in skin cancer, breast surgery, body contouring, facial aesthetics and hand surgery. Having completed a BA in Biomedical Engineering at Harvard in 2001, he went onto to complete his Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2006.
After obtaining his medical qualifications, he completed a Masters of Surgery writing his dissertation on breast reconstruction. In 2018, he was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery. He has also been appointed as Senior Lecturer to Macquarie University, where he is involved in world leading breast implant safety research.
Dr Barker has a love of innovation and is passionate about providing high quality care in close collaboration with the patient’s GP.
