Rasha completed her medical degree in 2011 at the University of New South Wales with First Class Honours. During her rigorous urological training, Rasha undertook further study to obtain a Master of Surgery in Urology at the University of Sydney in 2015. Rasha was awarded the prestigious George Schnitzler award for Registrar of the Year in 2018. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. Thereafter, she completed a Fellowship in Robotic Urological Oncology in East Kent, one of the largest hospital Trusts in the United Kingdom. Here, under the mentorship of world-experts in the field, Rasha developed and refined the skills required to treat urological cancers with excellence and precision.
Rasha is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based and personalised care to all her patients. She has interests in managing patients with urological cancers including kidney, bladder and prostate cancer as well as general urological conditions such as benign prostatic enlargement and urinary stone disease.
Rasha has multiple scientific publications and has presented her research in urological cancers at both national and international conferences. She is passionate about teaching and dedicated to training and mentoring junior doctors and registrars.
